Accor stamping its Handwritten Collection brand on TI-Treasure Island in Las Vegas: Travel Weekly

French hospitality giant Accor is making its Las Vegas debut, signing a franchise deal to operate the 2,884-room TI-Treasure Island Las Vegas Hotel & Casino under its Handwritten Collection brand.

In addition to being the company’s first Las Vegas flag, the property will become Accor’s largest hotel globally when it officially joins its portfolio later this year.

Under the franchise partnership, Treasure Island will have access to Accor’s global distribution network and its ALL loyalty program, which currently has more than 100 million members worldwide.

According to Accor, the property will retain signature amenities like complimentary valet and self-parking services.

The Las Vegas Strip resort features 10 dining venues, eight bars and lounges and 90,000 square feet of casino space and is also home to the long-running Cirque du Soleil show Mystere. The hotel, which recently completed a multimillion-dollar renovation, connects directly to Fashion Show Las Vegas mall.

“Treasure Island has long held a special place in the story of Las Vegas, and I am certain that Accor and Handwritten Collection will further enrich its legacy and attract new generations of guests and visitors,” said Treasure Island owner Phil Ruffin in a statement.

Accor debuted its Handwritten Collection soft brand, which plays in the midscale space, in 2023. The collection currently has 25 hotels, with Treasure Island marking the brand’s second U.S. property, following the signing of the Hotel Stratford in San Francisco last year.
