Good Wednesday evening! Today brought a mix of clouds and cool air, and while a few stray showers tried to sneak in, most of us managed to stay dry. That theme continues tonight with partly cloudy skies and lows in the mid-40s, making for a crisp start tomorrow morning.
Thursday will be seasonably cool, topping out near the low 60s. Showers look to move in late in the day, so the evening commute could be a slower one with umbrellas needed. This is the type of setup where students may get out the door dry in the morning, but grab that rain jacket for the ride home.
Friday turns breezy and cooler still, with highs near 60 and gusts of 20 to 30 mph. The combination of warm days and chilly nights we’ve been seeing could also help kickstart fall colors a little earlier than usual this year.
The weekend looks more settled, with highs in the 60s to near 70, great for outdoor activities, hiking, or fall sports. Sunday is shaping up as one of the nicer days ahead with sunshine and pleasant temps.
By Monday, a slight chance for showers returns late in the day, with more unsettled weather possible into Tuesday. Nothing that looks like a washout, but a few interruptions could affect outdoor plans.
Enjoy the crisp evening and the signs of fall starting to sneak in!
