The director of “Rubber” and “Wrong Cops,” Quentin Dupieux, has revealed he’s begun filming his next English-language feature film, “Full Phil,” which boasts quite an impressive group of actors.
Dupieux, who is also acting has his own director of photography, posted the big casting update on his Instagram account announcing the film’s production start, adding that the the cast will include Kristen Stewart (“Love Lies Bleeding”), Woody Harrelson (“Triangle of Sadness”), Emma Mackey (“Narnia,” “Sex Education”), Charlotte Le Bon (“The White Lotus”), and Nassim Lyes (“The Spy”) alongside the comedic duo of Tim Heidecker (“Him,” “Us”) and Eric Wareheim (“Wrong Cops”).

The French filmmaker is also known as the music act Mr. Oizo and is connected to the Parisian electronic scene via record labels like Ed Banger Records, and even directs music videos. His most recent feature directorial efforts include titles such as “The Piano Accident,” “The Second Act,” “Daaaaaali!,” and “Yannick.”
We’re sadly in the dark concerning the plot or character descriptions for “Full Phil,” but given Dupieux’s track record with both surrealist and absurdist comedy, there is an expectation that we’re looking at another wacky comedy.

Even without details, we can imagine how weird “Full Phil” could be, and we cannot wait until Dupieux unleashes some footage on the public to get a better idea of what that movie is about.
