Tessa Thompson Describes Chris Hemsworth as ‘Muscular Baby’
The actress, who debuted her new film Hedda at the BFI London Film Festival, participated in one of the festival’s discussions and reminisced about her collaboration with Hemsworth in Thor. As reported by Variety, she compared her scene partner to “a muscular baby, a very large toddler.”
She remarked, “He’s a massive toddler, just, he’s like a toddler with a bank account. It’s alarming… he should be contained, he has no reservations… he will do anything, you know, to elicit a laugh and to explore, so it’s a joy to collaborate with him.”
Although Marvel represented a significant shift from her previous projects, Thompson mentioned that the challenge was part of the appeal. “I was really eager to create a film like that, because I’m not certain I can do it, and I genuinely want to see if I can. And it was just so enjoyable. It truly liberated me,” Tessa expressed.
